Rad shows!!!

So this year i had the pleasure of travelling all across America and Europe. I was lucky enough to catch a bunch of rad shows and festivals. Here's a bunch of flyers from the shows i got to go to XD

This way by far the greatest show i've ever been too. The venue was sold out both nights and it was amazing to see so many kids and old dudes so siked on extreme music. Highlights, Capitalist Casualties, Pretty Little Flower, Lack Of Interest and FID ( these girls fucking shred!!!)

Hnaging in Twin Cities is what i needed after tearing it up in New Orleans for Madri Gras festival (another story for another day) I was pumped as fuck to see In Defence at this show as they are one of my fav bands. Me and my homie Ryan had to walk through about 200 metres of snow to a little warehouse for this show. Thrash Compactor tore me a new one, raging female fronted thrash punk! Brain Tumors stage antics made me think this is what watching GG live would've been like. Enabler where a happy surprise, never heard of them but they had Bubba from Party by the slice playing bass for them so i knew it would be fun. Epic hardcore and i mean EPIC!!! Fast, crushing breakdowns and so energentic on stage. Apparently these days they got the drummer from Fallout Boy playing and they gone all commerical and Bubba ain't in it so i think i'll just spin the 7 these days. In Defence fucking YEA!! Ben Crew hooked me up with four shirts and a hoodie for nothing, nicest dude in the world and he let me sing Lessons in head banging with them. Hands down one of the highlights from my USA trip. Here's a few pics from the show
Thrash Compactor
Enabler
Brain Tumors

Me singing for IxD doing my best to look tough!!!
In Defence = fun as fuck!!!

This show was fucking epic!!! I didn't care too much for the first two bands but Wasted time, fuck yea!! So fast and had kids stage diving and pitting in a second. Magrudergrind was pretty brutal, punx playing as fast and heavy as they can and they fucking kill at it.Nice dudes too. Dropdead can school any band any day of the week, old as fuck and fast as fuck! Heaps intense to watch, after this set i couldn't eat meat for a week as i thought old braz singing would pop around the corner and fuck me up. I don't wanna die with a half eaten cheeseburger in my hand. I got to meet some rad people at this show too and picked up so cool records.

DC must have rad shows all the time casue i got to catch this one too. Weekend Nachos, so pissed off and heavy! Hatewaves made up of dudes from pulling teeth played for like 5 minutes, was pretty brutal and awesome to watch a band put like 5 riffs into a 20 second song. Pulling teeth fucking own at what they do. Awesome metal/hardcore and the kids loved it. Highlight was dragging my boy Kieran with me who had never been to a hardcore show before. Me " so what did you?" Kieran "Songs too short, but loved all the people dancing, lets get burger king!!!!" All in all awesome day.

I won't bore you with words this pic sums up the night

I got to sing for FEDUP for this show. Godstomper got in a fight with the bouncers so they didn't play. Another band called Elephant Mace played and they blew me away. Singer wore a spiderman mask and floorpunched the whole time and the drummer had the biggest mullet i've ever seen. Was a rad venue too and a hottie LA girl kept buying me beers :)

Wow! Strife in Berlin with strung out. Such a fun show, venue reminded me of the arthouse. was really cool to see strung out with only 50 people in the room. Getting mic points and crowd surfing to Matchbook was too rad. And Strife, hands down the toughest band i've seen live, i hurt so many Germans during their set. Popped my hip out stage diving during their last song, never been so keen to go to sleep after a hardcore before haha.

And as promised Girls in Jeans gotta live up to the name of this blog. Peace!
